BirthChart

Here are some insights I had about the birth chart of the Reclaiming Community born on Nov. 19, 2006, 5:30 pm in Santa Fe, NM.

This is a very Scorpionic baby with 5 planets including Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter in the sign of death, transformation and rebirth. Scorpio has many levels of meaning. It comes in like the scorpion but the goal is to rise like the Phoenix from its own ashes, transformed by emotional experiences. So I see this as very transformational energy, not only will we be transformed in the process of creating this community, but we will also be in involved in transforming our world. Scorpio asks to go within and look deeply at our stuff, our wounded areas, bring them to light to be healed. It is about bringing the unconscious to consciousness. It takes a great amount of self honesty and courage to do the work that Scorpio asks of us. I don’t think any of us believed this would be an easy process and the chart certainly supports this. But the potential for incredible growth is there.

All of these Scorpio planets are in the 6th house, the area of the chart that has to with work. It could be called the “Zen of Work” house where we know all work is sacred and we do it as well as we can for that reason. It is also the house of healing, teaching and development of skills. This is a house of very practical service. There are actually 6 planets here as Venus in Sagittarius joins the Scorpio planets. So I would say the development of practical skills that transform ourselves and our world will play a large role in this entity. Also creation of this community will just simply take a lot of physical as well as emotional work.

Neptune, the planetary energy that connects us to something greater than ourselves, i.e. our dream, our vision of what life could be like, sits at the very top of the chart. When we created our vision statement, the most visionary of all planets was high in the sky, directly overhead, guiding us. I feel this is very auspicious. Neptune was conjunct the asteroid Ceres (Demeter), the Mother Goddess, the Goddess of the Abundance of the Land. I feel these two energies will guide us to the land we seek, our spiritual home. But Neptune can bring the mist and fog, making it difficult to see clearly. So with his presence comes trust in unseen forces and inner guidance.

Opposing Neptune and Ceres in the 4th house at the bottom of the chart, the house of clan, home and land, sits that old devil, Saturn. Saturn throws out challenges to us but the laws of planet earth are his domain. He shows us how to make everything real. He can help us make our dream a reality, the actual steps that we have to go through. He does represent difficulties but they are the things that must be done.

This opposition creates what is called a T-square with the Scorpio planets, a very dynamic but challenging aspect. Another trait of Scorpio is that the desire nature is very strong, especially when Mars is involved. I think one of the challenges here is to realize how strong the desire is to create the community and in a square to Neptune there is the potential to want something so badly that we can be tricked or deceived. We could be led into believing something that isn’t true or going down “rabbit holes” that are really going nowhere. Another potential challenge could be becoming easily discouraged. The process may at times go slow with Saturn involved. He is known as the planet of Cosmic Speed Bumps, but he slows us down for a reason, so that we do it right.

Trines in a chart are often gifts. There is a wonderfully tight trine from Mercury, the mind, to Uranus, the “Divine” mind. This opens a whole world of possibility of creative, progressive thinking. Being able to think of ideas that either have not been thought before or connecting to ideas of the collective unconscious whose time is ripe for fruition.

The north node of the Moon which represents the dharma of the entity is in the 11th house in Pisces. This says so me that spiritual community is the intention of this entity.

I wanted to share some of my first impressions with you. This chart has a lot of depth and richness. I can continue to study it and share what I see if anyone is interested my doing that.

Blessings,

Sibyl
