2. Size of land

• Water
• Amount of arable land
• How much cultivated vs. wild
• Energy of the land
• History of the land
• Topography/bioregion (hilly, wooded, etc.)

3. Existing infrastructure

• Zoning
• Proximity to urban area
• Transportation

4. Employment opportunities

• Demographics
• Cultural climate
