Subject: PROPOSAL: Inactive Membership Category

Create an Inactive Member Category. An Inactive Member is someone who has been a member and might choose to be a member again, but is not currently participating in the community. Inactive Members have the same privileges as a Supporter and would need to follow the current Supporter's membership process to become a Member. They are encouraged to offer their input on decisions but are unable to block. An Inactive Member does not owe dues until their membership status changes to Member. At that time, there would be an acknowledgement of past membership contributions by offering to discount the first dues period by $50, the balance to be paid on the designated due date.
