Agreements
Table of contents
Current agreements
- We have a Mission, which will not be easily modified.
- We want a multi-generational community.
- Our community will have an independent incomes financial structure. With this structure, each person is responsible for their own financial support.
- We empowered ourselves to be the current decision making Members of this community and have agreed to some requirements for community members. We have agreed on an On-line Decision Making process to use until we have completed consensus training.
- We have an initial Membership path for people who want to become a member. Membership allows an individual to participate in the decision-making process for the community. We have not decided on a path for people who wish to live in the community. Membership does not, at this time, entitle a person to be a resident of the community.
- We welcome Supporters and have some requirements for community supporters.
- We have made some decisions about our Current on-line process.
- We have agreed to a Consensus Decision Making Process.
- We have agreed on how to be trained in our decision making process.
- We have agreed on our Behavioral Ground Rules.
- We have agreed on the payment and consequences of non-payment of dues.

- Establishing good interpersonal skills - "Learn good communication and group process skills. Make clear communication and resolving conflicts a priority." (From Diana Leafe Christian's book, "Creating a Life Together" pg 8: one of the things she recommends addressing in the early stages of forming a community in order to reduce future structural conflict.)
- Supporter/Member Interactions - A place to begin discussions about the interactions between Members and Supporters
Smaller decisions made on-line and at meetings
