"That the January meeting be held the first weekend in January (Friday, January 2nd – Sunday, January 4th, with people encouraged to travel on Thursday, Jan 1st and Monday, Jan 5th) in North Carolina. Aimee has volunteered to anchor the working out of the details of this meeting, and possibly arrange for some scouting out of land ahead of time."

Discussion about this meeting from the spring meeting:

"The first or second weekend in January (Jan 2-4, 2009 or Jan. 9-11, 2009) would fit most people’s schedules. Possibility of Austin, TX was discussed at last meeting. We would like to hold it in a location that we are considering as the location of our community, probably either Oregon or North Carolina (Earthaven or Deborah & Elizabeth’s place)."

"A decision was NOT made about the winter meeting, however the possibility of having ChangingTide and Juniper host it in Austin, Texas was discussed."
